Privacy Policy

Overview

Yuktar ("we", "us", or "our") provides a workspace for lead generation, marketing context, outreach, and follow-up. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website and application (the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information we collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your email address, authentication credentials (stored in hashed form), and plan or billing-related identifiers needed to operate your workspace.

Workspace data. You may submit search criteria, product and service descriptions ("what you sell"), lead lists, notes, and messages generated or stored in Yuktar. This content is processed to deliver search, enrichment, scoring, and outreach features you request.

Integration data. If you connect third-party services (for example WhatsApp via Meta Business, or optional Google services such as Gmail, Google Sheets, or Google Calendar), we store connection metadata and tokens required to operate that integration on your behalf. We do not access more than needed to provide the connected feature. Google connections are optional and initiated by you.

Usage and technical data. We collect logs such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and API activity to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.

Payment information. Purchases of credits or subscriptions are processed by our payment partners (such as Stripe or Razorpay). We receive transaction confirmations and customer references, not full card numbers.

How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Run searches, enrichment, AI scoring, and assistant features you initiate
  • Process payments and manage credits
  • Send service-related notices (for example security or account updates)
  • Detect fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with law

We use AI and third-party data providers only to perform tasks you request within your workspace. We do not sell your personal information.

Google API Services user data

Yuktar offers optional integrations that use Google API Services. These integrations are not required to create an account or use core features of the Service. When you choose to connect a Google account, Yuktar requests only the access needed for the feature you enable, and we use Google user data solely to provide and improve that user-facing functionality.

Gmail. If you connect Gmail, we use OAuth to obtain permission to send and receive email on your behalf for email campaigns, transactional mail, and the unified inbox. We store OAuth tokens and the connected account's email address and display name so we can authenticate SMTP/IMAP access and show which account is linked. We do not use Gmail content to serve ads, train generalized AI models unrelated to your workspace, or sell it to third parties.

Google Sheets and Google Drive (read-only). If you connect Google Sheets, we use access to spreadsheets and limited Drive read access so you can select spreadsheets you own or that are shared with you, import contact or lead rows into Yuktar, and write enrichment or status updates back to sheets you choose. Drive read access is used only to list and open those spreadsheets; we do not scan your broader Drive for unrelated files.

Google Calendar. If you connect Google Calendar to a Yuktar booking calendar, we use calendar access to read busy/free times (to avoid double-booking) and to create, update, or delete calendar events for appointments booked through Yuktar. We store OAuth tokens and the linked Google calendar identifier needed to keep sync working.

Limited use. Yuktar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Service's user interface; it is not sold, and it is not used for serving advertisements. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to operate the Service (for example, hosting providers under our control) or as required by law, and only with appropriate safeguards.

Storage, retention, and revocation. OAuth tokens and related connection metadata are stored securely and retained while the integration remains connected. You can disconnect Gmail, Google Sheets, or Google Calendar at any time from the Service's integration settings; after disconnect we stop using those Google APIs for your account and revoke or delete stored tokens as part of normal disconnect handling. You may also revoke Yuktar's access in your Google Account permissions.

Third-party services

Yuktar relies on infrastructure and data partners to operate, including cloud hosting, lead data providers, AI model providers, payment processors, and optional integrations you enable. Those providers process data according to their own policies and our agreements with them. You are responsible for ensuring your use of third-party lead data and outreach channels complies with applicable law and platform rules.

Data retention

We retain account and workspace data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including access controls and encryption where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Children

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
